Drove solutions and outcomes, based on research and data, that extended the initial scope of updates resulting in UI/UX that provides the flexibility of a website with marketplace capabilities.
AppDirect’s Add-On Store is a robust ecosystem of partner solutions providing specialized capabilities that can be quickly added to enhance marketplace functionality and the customer experience. (is a place where customers can go to extend their platform functionality with the third-party solutions and integrations that AppDirect partners with.)
As lead designer and key stakeholder, collaborated with product marketing to create the brief, capturing the needs of the audience with different value drivers and helped to aggregate that information into objectives and categories. Defined clear user journeys and promoted building additional pages to house key considerations - for example, pages that feature more educational content and customer success stories to help customers determine the optimal solution, based not just on features, but also real-life success stories from their peers.
Helped create questions for customer interviews, participated in interview sessions and used the findings to drive meaningful updates to content and designs (e.g adding a “How It Works” section to the homepage). Iterated designs based on both customer and internal feedback and overcame challenges through evidence-based solutions and influencing teammates to do the same.
Took ownership of UI/UX design and executed on the designs and visual language independently, consistently aligning with the team and project goals and formalized a QA approach to deliver a high-quality and responsive site.
